Angammedilla National Park Morning Safari

A morning safari in Angamedilla National Park provides an opportunity to witness the park as it awakens. Elephants, sambar deer, and spotted deer are often seen grazing in the cooler morning hours, especially around the forest edges and grasslands. This time is also great for birdwatching, with endemic and migratory birds, such as the Sri Lanka junglefowl, grey-headed fish eagle, and painted stork, active around the water sources. The morning safari typically concludes by mid-morning, offering a peaceful experience that highlights the park’s natural beauty and diverse wildlife.
