Maduruoya National park Morning Safari

A morning safari in Maduru Oya begins at dawn, providing the best opportunity to observe animals in the cooler hours. Elephants are commonly seen grazing in the open plains, while sambar deer, water buffalo, and, occasionally, leopards may be spotted as well. Birdwatchers will enjoy sightings of raptors, such as white-bellied sea eagles and brahminy kites, along with colorful species like painted storks and kingfishers. The morning safari typically concludes by mid-morning, offering a fulfilling start to the day amidst Maduru Oya’s lush landscapes.
