Udawalawe national Park Evening Safari

Starting in the late afternoon, the evening safari captures Udawalawe as it cools and animals emerge to feed or gather around water sources. Elephants, buffalo, and deer are often visible near waterholes, while the fading light of dusk creates a beautiful backdrop for photographers. The evening is also a great time to spot raptors and other birds winding down for the day. This safari option provides a peaceful experience as the park transitions into twilight, allowing visitors to observe Udawalawe’s wildlife as they prepare for night. The evening safari wraps up around sunset, offering a memorable view of the park under the soft colors of the setting sun.
